Regarding Topic 3: Big Data Analysis——Marketing on REDNOTE for a beauty salon
My roommate and I both felt that our shoulders and arms were very sore recently. While browsing REDNOTE, we found a massage parlor called Bella Wellness Sri Petaling in the recommendations. It's not too far from our home, in Damansara. So, we decided to give it a try. As soon as we arrived at the store, a Chinese-speaking receptionist greeted us. After we registered and showed our reservation information, another staff member led us upstairs. We had to change into the shoes provided by the store at the door. Inside the massage room, we changed into the disposable bath towels provided by the store, which were very clean. According to the staff, they are changed and disinfected after each use. My roommate and I both had full-body essential oil massages. I chose a ginger-scented essential oil, and she chose a rose-scented one. The masseuse had a good sense of the right pressure and maintained a consistent pressure throughout the one and a half hours. We definitely felt much better after the massage. Later, the receptionist came in to ask about our experience and gave us a cumulative card, and other staff members brought me red date, silver ear and ginger soup to warm me up. Each time we come, a stamp will be added to the card. After five visits, we can get a free full-body massage.
Business application: This experience reminded me of the key technologies mentioned in Topic 3. Through big data analysis, real-time voice monitoring, and REDNOTE's search and browsing records, suitable products can be filtered and pushed to users. REDNOTE precisely recommended the product that my friend and I needed. Moreover, the products selected after filtering are usually the most suitable ones within a limited range, which can greatly enhance user satisfaction and loyalty.
